Bullhead City, AZ – Goldrush Apartments in Bullhead City, AZ is inviting local area children and their families to enjoy a free outdoor movie and activity night on Saturday, September 19^th.  From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., children are welcome to play Wii Bowling on a 20 foot screen. The movie feature is “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and it will begin at 8 p.m. The movie is rated PG-13 and parents are asked to make sure it is appropriate for their children.  Refreshments will also be available.

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Cork and Beans Coffee and Wine Bistro in Bullhead City will be hosting Monday Night Football beginning Monday, August 17th with the Panthers vs. the Giants playing on the screens above the bar. Cork and Beans Coffee and Wine Bistro will be hosting their first Tequila Tasting on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 4 p.m.   The event will take place at 1595 Mohave Drive, Suites 4 and 5 in Bullhead City, AZ and will cost $10 at the door.  It will be limited to the first 50 people and will include a special tasting shot glass.

Together with Young’s Market Company, the bistro will be offering 4 different premium tequilas for the tasting along with specially priced margaritas and Mexican beers.  There will a special Mexican themed menu for this event.

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Cork and Beans in Bullhead City will be partnering with One Hope Wines out of Newport Beach, CA to benefit five charities during a wine tasting to be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 6 p.m.

The event will consist of the sampling of 5 different wines, with 50% of the proceeds of wine sales going to benefit a charity represented by each individual wine.

For example, proceeds from the sale of the Cabernet Sauvignon benefit the ACT Today! charity. ACT Today! provides grant money for families that cannot afford or access the treatments their autistic children need.  The four other wines being sampled benefit causes such as breast cancer and AIDS research, planet conservation and the children of our fallen soldiers.

Cork and Beans will also be providing light appetizers served based on the wine they compliment.

“It’s amazing how wine causes a wow sensation when paired with the proper food,” says Joanie Madrid, who co-owns the bistro with her partner, Charles Grimshaw.
